Ecological Day

Wednesday January 9, 2019

9:00 am - 4:15 pm

*please note the day change!

Ecological Day is a producer led annual event, related to Ecological Practices on the Farm.  The areas of interest for Ecological Farmers encompasses a very broad spectrum of topics. Organizers attempt to target small livestock producers, market gardeners, larger livestock farms, and field cropping.  The purpose of Ecological Day is to provide an opportunity for Ecologically/organic  producers to meet and be educated on the latest technology; discuss pertinent marketing issues; learn about health/ nutrition/ soil topics, and much more; plus, interact and exchange ideas with fellow Ecological farmers.

Organizers also hope that producers can implement at least two ideas as soon as they return back to their operations.

New this year on Ecolocial Day – we will have Peer to Peer Discussions, pertaining to Soil Health, facilitated by Ruth Knight, Organic Consultant.

Adults $30 (Includes HST)

(includes hot roast beef dinner)
